ArmorWars was released earlier this week, and the server not only managed opening day with flying colors -- the server has been running maintenance free for 11 days straight.
For the most part the CPU utilization has been under 3%. ArmorWars hasn't had huge number of people online at one time, somewhere north of a hundred at it's peak; mostly the number of people playing has been hovering between 30 and 80 -- as I type this there's 45 online right now.
All in all 3% is not bad considering that the server is an EC2 small instance -- theoretically equivalent to a 1.2 GHz Opteron.
The memory picture has been looking good as well -- the server in its entirety ( os, system processes, webserver, and the emp ) -- has been relatively constant, weighing in at just under 460 megs.
There's still some work on both the processor utilization and the memory usage front planned for the future -- the ultimate goal is to be able to give people the option to host their own server, or to use a shared server for lower traffic games -- but these numbers are a good starting point.
